MTAC announces first annual battle of the bands

NASHVILLE, TN - MTAC to Become to Musical Battleground

MTAC, Music City's Anime Convention, is proud to announce its First Annual Battle of the Bands! The competition gives bands the opportunity to take the main stage at MTAC as well as a shot at jumpstarting their careers on the anime convention circuit! Think your band has what it takes to win?

The Battle takes it old school. Competitors can signup via the MTAC website (www.mtac.net) and a total of 6 bands will be chosen by the attendees of MTAC to compete based on their style, sound and description of why they feel they are worthy to compete! During the Battle each band will have to perform two songs, an original piece composed by the band as well as a cover of a classic anime song! The winning band will be chosen by the audience and given an opportunity to return to MTAC 2010 as a headline act!
