News for MangaNEXT 2008:

MangaNEXT to be held October 31 through November 2

MangaNEXT is pleased to announce that we are going into our third year. MangaNEXT will be bringing you more great workshops cultural and fan panels, dealers, and other new and exciting events than ever before in our new location, the Doubletree in Somerset. Pre registration for MangaNEXT will be just $25, and at-door registration will be $35. To pre register, visit www.manganext.org/registration. Pre registration can only be processed online, no mail in registrations, please.

You can expect to see all our great long-standing events and entertainment such as the Manga Library, dealer's room, hall cosplay contest, video game room, table top gaming and much more. Some new events will be added to the roster this year, such as our Grayscale Cosplay Competition. The Grayscale Contest will be a separate division from normal entries and there will be one award granted to the best Grayscale Cosplay. Universal Animation (http://www.universalanimation.org), the non-profit group that organizes MangaNEXT is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation of Anime and Manga in the United States. Founded in 2002 in NYC, Universal Animation is responsible for planning AnimeNEXT, which is held annually in the Tristate (NY/NJ/CT) area.
