Anime South 2005 announces more guests and founder membership sell-out

Destin, Florida - Jul. 5, 2005 - Anime South 2005 is pleased to announce 2 additional Guests of Honor, Voice actress/writer Lauren Goodnight from ADV Films and professional photographer Maboroshi of RisingSun.net. Anime South 2005 is holding its inaugural event on November 18-20, 2005 at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa.

Lauren Goodnight has appeared in Aquarian Age: Sign for Evolution (Sarashina, Arayashiki West), Pretear (Natsue Awayuki), Angelic Layer (Narrator), SuperGALS! (Sanae), Sorcerer Hunters: Chocolate, Springs, and Other Hot Things (Shiorina), Evangelion: Director's Cut, Noir, DNAngel, and RahXephon. Anime has always been a part of her life, from watching Voltron and Speed Racer as a child through her Bachelor's Degree thesis on fandom (especially anime fandom)...showing how the love of something central can bind people together. In between all of the anime, she dances, sings for the bands "mit Reiflzahnen" and "Hourglass System", draws the webcomic Status Report: FaerieTale, and writes a regular column for AnimeOnDVD.com as their Staff Music Reviewer. Lauren is looking forward to earning a PhD in Behavioral Neuropsychology.

Maboroshi of Risingsun.net has covered almost every single anime convention in the southeast for the past 5 years. He is a professional photographer who specializes in cosplay photo shoots. He is the Official Photographer of Anime South 2005, as well as MetroCon and MegaCon. The official convention photo shoots will occur on Friday night and Saturday afternoon (exact times to be announced later).

Anime South has sold out of all its Founder memberships. Anime South thanks all 9 of its Founders: Angel Viloria, Kiel Melvin, Brenton Mucklow, Greg Kerby, Sara McColskey, Jess Enochs, Toby Greenberg, Lara Harris, and Jaqueline Dempsey.
