John "Kettlebriar's Workshop" Stout Information

Biography:
John Stout, better known as Kettlebriar's Workshop, is a multi-award winning cosplayer and prop maker from North Louisiana. After visiting cons for a couple of dozen years, in 2018 he decided to start building large cosplay creations out of EVA Foam and won the Grand Prize in the first contest he ever entered. Since then, he's gone on to win many more and is now enjoying guesting and hosting at conventions where he has picked up the affectionate moniker of "Con Dad" from his fellow younger cosplayer community. Kettlebriar is mostly recognized for his award winning huge Mayor of Halloweentown cosplay (from Nightmare Before Christmas) as well as his original Nukatron cosplay from the FALLOUT video game series (featured on PC Gamer), for which he was also awarded the Grand Prize from the company that made the game. He enjoys building unique cosplays that no one else creates. These cosplays have begun to catch the attention of several movie stars and celebrities that have stopped their lines at conventions to run out and ask him for pictures. Viral photos and videos from these cosplays have ended up shared millions of times across social media. He most recently won Best of Show for his Green Lantern Battle Armor cosplay.
