Melissa Fahn
Actor
California, USA

Biography:
Melissa grew up in Southern California the youngest of four very talented siblings. With her dad working in TV production, Melissa and her brothers grew up on television soundstages, giving them a taste of performing at a young age. Since the age of three, Melissa has been singing and dancing. She made her debut on the musical theater stage at the age of twelve. Melissa attended Cal State Long Beach for one year as a dance major before devoting all of her time to work and the stage. When working as a receptionist, Melissa's unique voice caught the attention of a voice-over casting director who was working on a new Betty Boop featurette. Melissa has since voiced many beloved characters including Gaz in Invader Zim, Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV in Cowboy Bebop, Rika in Digimon, and more. In the Fall of 2000, Melissa was asked to take part in a workshop for the new musical "Wicked." She was given the part of Dorothy which was later removed because of licensing. After Dorothy, she was put in the ensemble for future readings and the San Fransisco trial. In the Broadway production, Melissa performed in the ensemble and also understudied as Glinda. Prior to "Wicked", she graced stages from Los Angeles and Denver to Paris and Avignon, France in shows from Hal Prince's "3hree", "Gilligan's Island the Musical" and the rock-opera powerhouse "Vox Lumiere". She was even nominated for a prestigious Denver Critics Circle Award as Best Actress in a Musical for her performance as Maria in "West Side Story". Most recently, she has graced the stage as Tillie in the Los Angeles Musical Theatre Guild's production of the musical murder mystery, "Redhead", and, in February, as Marty Maraschino in the Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities' production of the classic "Grease!"
