Biography:
Treatz is an international award winning cosplayer from Calgary, Canada. He focuses on fine detailed garments and continuing to grow his sewing compendium. He believes that cosplay is for everyone, regardless of race, body type, age, gender, or orientation. Treatz started his cosplay journey back in 2015 when his friends convinced him to join their cosplay group. Since then he has fallen in love with the community and the exciting opportunities it provides. As a craftsmanship focused cosplayer, he found his place in the cosplay competition circuit when he competed for the first time in 2017 and won Best Craftsmanship in his novice category. Since then he has gone on to win three Best In Show titles, and is the current champion title holder of the North American Masters of Cosplay Grand Prix. From networking through the competition circuit and on social media, he has had the chance to work on multiple projects with various talented artists in other countries, the most recent being a project for DIsney Pixar's Onward that was sponsored by Mehron Cosmetics. He continues to work hard towards his goals in his cosplay career and to engage with the community through guesting and judging opportunities.
