Timothy Koenig has passionately studied all things Japanese-beverage for five years, and in that time earned both the Certified Saké Professional and Advanced Saké Professional certification from the saké Education Council, an organization led by the world's foremost saké educator, John Gauntner.
Timothy has also formed close relationships many of Japan's top saké producers and has collaborated on a private label saké can for Yusho Restaurant with Kikusui saké in Niigata Prefecture.
He is passionate about exploring new reaches of the food and beverage world by searching out unique food and saké pairings and sharing information about saké in a fun and approachable way.
