Recorded and live, pop and serious, light and dark... Capella expresses their brand of cinematic prose pop through all these different forms, appearing sometimes sad, sometimes tragic. Both their songs and their live performances are in themselves stories, and each member portrays a character therein, playing the main character or another role in the songs. At live shows, the entire hall is part of the story and each member of the audience plays a role, while in recordings, they create "movies of sound and words" that inspire images of the story and settings in the listener's mind. Sometimes one song is its own story, sometimes two songs tell a story together, and sometimes the characters tied to them have their own stories. Searching for the stories in the music and thinking about them on our own is just one more way to enjoy Capella.
