Biography:
Kristin Fairlie made her acting debut at the age of 8 on the series Road to Avonlea and had her feature film debut at the age of 12 opposite Demi Moore, Gary Oldman, and Robert Duvall in 'The Scarlet Letter'. A Young Artist of Hollywood Award Winner for the Showtime Movie 'The Sweetest Gift', Kristin has had starring roles in film and television opposite such talent as Anne Heche, Diahann Carroll, Kristen Bell, Laura Dern, Michael Madsen, and Michelle Trachtenberg, and was hand-picked by Sofia Coppola for the film 'The Virgin Suicides'.
Kristin is well known as the voice of Little Bear on the Award winning series 'Little Bear' and the 'The Little Bear Movie'. She was the voice of young Babar in the animated Feature "Babar: King of the Elephants" and has appeared on many cartoon soundtracks. She is currently the voice of surfer girls' Bridgette on the hit series 'Total Drama' and Emma on 'Stoked!' (Teletoon/Cartoon Network).
Kristin has made several guest appearances on series such as 'Heartland' and 'Murdoch Mysteries'. Her guest-starring role on the series 'Flashpoint' was hailed by The Globe and Mail as "a chillingly convincing portrayal of a teenage gang leader". Kristin was a recurring cast member on the series 'Renegade Press' and 'Metropia' and later joined the cast of Nickelodeon's 'Instant Star' to play Megan, the villain of the final season. Kristin then appeared in the award-winning comedy "You Might as Well Live" as pop singer Stormy Blaze where her performance garnered her a mention in Variety Magazine: "The soundtrack standout (duly reprised under closing credits) is " Stormy Blaze," aka the sister's hilariously heinous debut single." Kristin later worked on the Julia Roberts produced film 'Jesus Henry Christ' and appeared in a cameo in the indie comedy 'Moonpoint'. Kristin's next appearance is a guest-starring role on CTV's The Listener. Kristin's love of fashion led her to launch her clothing company Hate and Heartbreak online at www.hateandheartbreak.com
