Biography:
Flint Dille is the greatest guy you never heard of. He has touched every part of your childhood and then some. Don't believe me buy his book.
Award winning screenwriter, game designer, and novelist with over 40 years of leading disruptive change across several industries to include Entertainment, Defense, and Intelligence. Best known for his animated work on Transformers, G.I. Joe, and An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, and game-writing for mega-hits such as The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, and Dead to Rights, as well as a non-fiction book written with John Zuur Platten, The Ultimate Guide to Video Game Writing and Design.
Flint is currently Lead Writer for an undisclosed project at Deviation games and working on a book about Creative Teams with Team Clock President Steve Ritter. In Summer 2020, his book, The Gamesmaster: Almost Famous in the Geek '80's came out. Prior to that, Flint was Creative Lead for Niantic Labs which has produced Ingress and the global phenomenon Pokemon Go, downloaded over 800 million times with 147 million active players monthly, and Ingress, a location based augmented reality mobile game available in 16 different languages. Flint is also serving as a member of Polyplexus which enables DARPA to gamify the search for strategic surprise, generate better questions faster, and accelerate connections across domain knowledge allowing experts to assemble evidence and hypotheses from which research plans can quickly evolve and seek funding.
His Agent 13 Novels (co-written by Dave Marconi) are in fast track development at Universal Studios with Charlize Theron. Deemed by the Writer's Guild of America to be the Most Published Game Writer in the World, Flint has twice won Game Script of the Year (Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (with JZP), and Dead to Rights), and was nominated for Ghostbusters and Dark Athena. Multiple platinum titles and has worked on numerous crown jewel franchises including James Bond, Uncharted, Mission: Impossible, Tiny Toons, Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu (Guinness Book of videogame records for creating the first Batman villain outside of the comics). He has also penned novelizations for properties such as Superman, Dungeons & Dragons, Teen Titans, Diablo III and Scooby-Doo.
Flint was the showrunner on Transformers G1 and other animated series (G.I. Joe, Inhumanoids, Visionaries) and Directed Dragonstrike and Terror T.R.A.X. (interactive movie). I have written four feature films: Transformers: The Movie, American Tail 2: Fievel Goes West, Venom, and Starship Troopers: Invasion.
