Science Fiction Convention
WishCon was a fan-oriented and fan-run Star Trek convention held in Springfield, Massachusetts with an auction, art show, dealer's room, panel discussions, speakers, video room, con suite, and special guests. The con, originally hosted by K&L Productions and USS Konkordium, a chapter of STARFLEET, the International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc., helped raise funds for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The annual event evolved into United Fan Con, a similar fan-run convention that wasn't associated with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
