MTAC Odyssey maintains solid attendance during flooding
Middle Tennessee Anime Convention had 4,200 attendees at its 10th convention while parts of Tennessee suffered flooding. Anime and karaoke programming continued for an extra night at the Sheraton Music City to entertain those forced to stay another night. Connecticon has announced its first round of guests: voice actors Carlos Ferro and Daniel Kevin Harrison as well as webcomic creators Brian Clevinger, Tim Buckly, Michael "Mookie" Terracciano, Ananth Panagariya, Mohammad "Hawk" Haque, and Scott Ramsoomair. The convention takes place this July in Hartford, Connecticut.

Anime-Zap!, an anime convention announced less than 72 hours before the convention began, brought in 160 anime fans this weekend. The convention was quickly put together after the announcement that nearby Pokettokon had been cancelled.
