Biography:
Mel Taylor is a homemaker and freelance writer whose work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, literary reviews and, most significantly, for a grownup kid who learned how to write from Classics Illustrated and Stan Lee, in comics. His collaborations with his artist cousin R.G. Taylor have appeared in Quadrant, Calibre Presents, Negative Burn,and Growing Up With Comics,as well as in their own zine, Bootleg Comics and Stories. Mel has a B.A. in drama from Brock University and a diploma in journalism from Conestoga College, and is also the author of Angels We Have Heard on High, a novella. While his passion is, first and foremost, for writing, he is also a guitar player, singer, juggler, tap dancer and cartoonist. Taylor lives in Kitchener, Ontario with his wife, Kim Radigan, who only reads comics when he writes them.
